Jack is flying the chopper.  Chloe comes over the comm. and asks what he is doing.  Jack ignores her but reacts with his expressions.  She asks if he can hear her and then turns to Arlo asking the same thing.  He says Jack can hear her, he’s just not answering.  Chloe swears, ‘Dammit!’  Cole has the air force choppers closing in on Jack’s position.
Chloe goes back to talking to Jack and tells him he’s ordered to turn around and report to CTU.  Jack doesn’t answer but appears to be looking for something outside the chopper.  Chloe can see him from CTU’s atrium and she is watching his progress.  Jack appears to have found what he’s looking for and starts to put the chopper down.  They see that Jack is descending and there are military choppers in pursuit.  Chloe tries again to convince Jack to come back to CTU.  Jack isn’t listening, he puts the chopper down on a rooftop helipad.  The air force pursuit tells CTU he landed on the Cooper Building.  They are going to maintain visual contact.  They hover the helicopter over the building and watch Jack get out, head to the ladder and work his way down the stairs.  While Jack is running, sirens can be heard approaching.  The chopper has a visual on the NYPD approaching the scene.  They are 1 block out.  Jack goes down some more stairs and jumps a railing, standing on a ladder.  He punches the release button and slides to the ground.  He trots off out to the main street getting into a group of people.  He gets under a tree and the choppers lose him.  The NYPD cop on scene also has no visual, Jack has taken off with a group of people undetected.
Chloe waits in CTU and Cole comes and asks what Jack is doing. Chloe briefly explains to Cole about Dana and that he is going to try and come after her.  Cole says that she’s locked down, he can’t get after her.  Chloe knows that he’ll figure it out or die trying.  Chloe assigns Cole to the field to liaise with NYPD.  She wants Jack tracked on the traffic cams as well.

Kanin is on the phone and says he wants a real time uplink.  Taylor enters and asks about tracking Jack down. Kanin admits they lost him and he’s on foot.  NYPD is securing a perimeter, CTU is running the interagency search.  Taylor tells Kanin that if Jack exposes the Russians, this is all over.  Kanin gently tells her that the peace agreement won’t be the only casualty, she covered up the Russian involvement, that’s grounds for impeachment, possibly a criminal indictment.  Taylor sits down thinking about his words.  Kanin continues that it’s not too late to step back and limit the damage.  She can expose the Russians, call for an immediate investigation through transparent international cannels.  It will end the peace deal but it would save her administration.  Taylor thinks there still might be a chance that CTU will find Jack.  Kanin doesn’t disagree but says that even if they do, the evidence is still out there and it will surface eventually.  Kanin sits down and Taylor sits with her face in her hands.  Kanin addresses her by her first name and says he knows better than anyone how much this meant to her, how much she has sacrificed personally to make this happen.  She pleads, ‘Ethan, we are so close.’  He assures her that they will be again, if not during her administration, then the next one.  Taylor wishes she could believe that.  She is upset, has tears in her eyes, but she steels herself.  Taylor puts her hands to her eyes and gives Kanin the go ahead to prepare a statement announcing their withdrawal of the accord.  She has a press conference in 40 minutes and she will make the announcement then.  Kanin grabs her hand in comfort and assures her that as hard as this is, it’s the right thing to do.  She composes herself and then stands, Ethan does the same.  She leaves the room tailed by 2 secret service agents.  Taylor gets into an elevator and there is a pause before it starts moving down.  She closes her eyes for a few seconds and leans on the back wall.
Logan is waiting downstairs when the elevator opens.  Taylor steps out followed by her secret service agents.  Logan approaches her in the hallway and they both move into a room.  As soon as the door is closed, Taylor tells him, “It’s over, Charles.”    She explains that she has decided not to go through with the peace deal.  Logan asks if it is because of Bauer and Taylor corrects him that it’s because the evidence of the Russians, the evidence she helped cover up is potentially too lethal.  Logan agrees and steps forward, it doesn’t sound like she had much of a choice.  Taylor is surprised, she expected more of a fight from him.  He assesses himself, “I’m nothing if not pragmatic.”   He is disappointed.  Taylor says he will have to find some other way to repair his legacy.  He puts his own personal disappointment aside and says it’s a loss for the world.  Taylor agrees, her voice cracking.  She says Ethan is drafting the statement and Taylor needs to call Dalia Hassan.  Logan asks her to consider one thing, a way to preserve the peace deal.  She says it’s over, Logan agrees if the evidence comes out.  She cannot grant Walsh immunity, the evidence becomes public record, she needs to control the evidence by keeping Walsh off the grid, classify her as an enemy combatant and put her in a private facility.  Logan can recommend and effective, discreet, private security firm that he has standing by.  Taylor is surprised and sits as she says it sounds like Logan has been giving this a lot of thought.  Logan reminds her that the evidence is hanging over her head.  She has to deal with it.  Taylor reminds Logan that they cant keep Walsh locked up indefinitely.  He thinks they may not have to.  She may not give up the information willingly but she will give it up.  Taylor clues in to what Logan is saying as he continues that it won’t matter what she claims after that.  Taylor stands and accuse him of talking about using physical coercion.  He knows how deeply this offends her sensibilities, it’s repugnant and even immoral, ‘But isn’t morality relative considering what’s a stake here?’  Taylor clarifies that he is still talking about torture.  He stands and argues that he is talking about preserving a peace accord that is crucial to the security of this nation and that can only happen if she acquires and controls the evidence.  Logan implores her to believe he doesn’t make these suggestions lightly, he appreciates the implications.  He has tried to be as open and candid with her as he has been with anyone.  He regrets many of his own actions when he was president but he has had the time and the distance to see past them and to understand.  She asks what he understands and he tells her, ‘Wielding the kind of power that I once had, and you have now, can change the world but that often requires making impossible choices that challenge our most sacred ideals.  If you’re not willing to do that you should take Ethan’s advice and pull out now.’

Arlo has Jack walking down 25th at Cleveland 8 minutes ago.  Chloe has a call from the president. She takes it and tells Taylor that they are still searching for Jack.  Chloe believes he is on his way to CTU and Dana Walsh is his target.  Taylor says this is why she is calling.  Logan watches her talk in the room with her as she says she wants Walsh transferred to a safe out off site.  Chloe says she has doubled the security, this is the safest place for her.  Taylor says that Chloe’s opinion notwithstanding, Taylor would be more comfortable with Walsh in a place where she can’t be trapped.  She is sending agents from a private security firm to pick up Walsh.  Chloe is surprised and Taylor explains that Jack has contacts throughout the government and they might be sympathetic to his situation.  Chloe doesn’t answer and Taylor clarifies that she isn’t suggesting Chloe is one of those people.  She is just taking every precaution, she is seeing to the transfer order now.  The agent in charge of the transfer is named Mark Bledsoe and he will be there in a few minute\s.  Chloe understands.
Taylor hangs up and Logan assures her she made the right call.  Taylor tells Logan that she wants these men of his to use every method of non-coercive interrogation they possess.  Logan tells her that it’s a standing order, no one wants this to get ugly.  Taylor answers, “It’s already ugly, Charles.”
Jack is in an electronics store buying at least 3 cell phones, he has them out of the boxes and tells the clerk he doesn’t need the chargers.  He leaves the store and makes a call to Chloe.  He identifies himself and Chloe tries to get him to come back to CTU.  Jack has to get to Dana Walsh.  The President said she’s lying but Jack thinks she is lying to cover up the evidence and even if it’s for a good reason, it’s not right.  It’s not Jack’s call, it’s the Presidents.  Jack reminds Chloe that these people were behind a terrorist attack against the US, it’s no longer her call.  Jack tells Chloe, ‘You don’t want to go against me on this.’  Chloe asks, ‘Are you threatening me?’  Jack isn’t, he’s asking for her help.  Jack wants her to put him in a room with Dana Walsh.  Chloe  tells Jack that he’s not thinking clearly but Jack thinks he’s the only one that is.  Chloe again wants him to come in so they can figure this out. Jack tells her to forget it.  Chloe asks Jack what he is planning on doing if he does get in a room with her.  He stops walking outside a music store where guitars hang in the windows.  He explains that he just wants the people responsible held accountable.  All he has to do is expose them.  Chloe thinks for a minute and then tells Jack that they are preparing to have her transferred out of CTU.  They have hired a private security firm to do it.  Jack wants to know where they are taking her and Chloe says she doesn’t know.    He says he’ll call her back.  He walks a few steps and throws the phone in a garbage can.
Jack pulls a new phone out and makes another call.  The call goes to a man working in a darkened room on a circuit board of some kind.  He looks and sees that the caller ID is unavailable on the call coming in.  He answers it with a ‘yes’.  Jack calls him Jim and identifies himself.  Jim has heard that the whole city is looking for him.  Jack needs his help, he’s running out of places to go.  Jim would say gone.  Jim wants to know what Jack did this time and Jack says the less he knows the better.  Jim asks for him or for Jack.  Jack answers for both of them.  Jack needs weapons and equipment and he needs it fast, he asks if Jim can make that happen.  “I can make just about anything happen, Jack you know that, the problem is that you’re a walking bulls eye.  The last thing I need is you on my doorstep.”  Jack stops walking again and tells Jim that  he wouldn’t have a doorstep if it wasn’t for him.  He’s calling in a favour and he wants it ready when he gets there.  Jim says sarcastically, “I see you haven’t lost your personal touch.”  Jack needs a comm. unit, 2 MP-5’s, an assortment of assault rifles and body armour as well as a full surveillance package.  Jack gets in a cab and leaves.
Bledsoe and his team are arriving at CTU.  He calls Logan’s man, Logan is in the room and says that he doesn’t have Walsh yet. He wanted to talk about something before he proceeded.  They never discussed what to do with the prisoner once they had the information.  He tells Bledsoe to hand her back to CTU, if there’s no evidence she can’t make any trouble. He thinks they can’t afford the accusations that she might make, some of it might stick.  Logan’s man, with Logan listening, asks what he is suggesting.  Bledsoe answers that they can make it look like the prisoner was killed while she was trying to escape.  He’s not sure they’re willing to go down that path but Bledsoe was hired to clean up this situation and in his professional opinion that’s what needs to happen.  Logan’s man will let them know.  He hangs up and looks to Logan.  He pauses.
Chloe meets Bledsoe and his crew as they come into the CTU.  He hears that she’s had a rough day and Chloe agrees that they could say that.  Chloe is going to take him to Dana Walsh and she asks where he is taking her. He can’t disclose that, the point is to keep her off the grid.  Chloe is responsible for the prisoner  but he reminds her he was given a presidential order.  Chloe needs to see it.  Bledsoe says she should have gotten it but she claims she didn’t, with the EMP their systems are still down.  He claims to be in a hurry but Chloe can’t let him take Walsh without the order.  If he has to get it elsewhere it will take an hour, maybe more.  He hands over is PDA to her with the order.  She takes it and thanks him while discreetly plugging in a device.  She looks it over and thanks him, apologizing for being so by the book, she was just promoted and she wants to make sure she dots her ‘i’s and crosses her ‘t’s’.  They have made it to Dana’s holding room and Bledsoe enters and tells Dana that she has been classified as an enemy combatant.  His two cronies haul Dana to her feet and tell her she is being transferred to a secure location.  Dana wants to know where her immunity deal is.  Bledsoe says she is leaving with them.  Dana puts up a struggle and pleads to Chloe that they are going to kill her.  They lead her away struggling and Bledsoe turns and thanks Chloe for her cooperation.  Chloe looks unhappy for a second and then pulls out her phone and the unit she had attached to Bledsoe’s phone.  She walks out into CTU and starts to look through the files from his phone.  She sees the destination that they are taking Dana and then sighs.  She looks  at the screens and sees Jack’s face from the pursuit images.  She sighs and dials her phone.

Cole is working with NYPD.  He answers his phone and tells Chloe that there’s no sign of Jack.  Chloe just talked to him, she explains that he called her and wants her to help get Dana.   She admits that she almost gave the information do Jack but she can’t.  She’s under Presidential orders and she doesn’t think that Jack is thinking clearly right now.  They have to find him before he gets himself killed.  Cole is concerned and asks ‘What if the President is on the wrong side of this?’   Chloe sticks with her assignment, they have orders to bring him in and that’s what they’re going to do.  She looks again at the photo of Jack on the screen and walks into CTU.  She lets them know that there is a sting operation in effect led by Agent Ortiz. The target is Jack Bauer.  She tells them to get to work.

Jim is working in his space and he sees Jack approaching on his security monitors.  He walks up and knocks.  Jim goes to the door and unlocks a variety of locks, opening the door to Jack on the other side.  Jack steps in past him asking if Jim got what he needs.  Jim says dryly that it’s nice to see Jack again, too.  Jack turns and asks if he got it or not.  Jim has it all and points out a table.  Jack goes over to it as Jim says that it’s everything he asked for.  Jack starts picking up the weapons and checking them.  Jim has been checking the scanners and all agencies are looking for Jack.  They didn’t’ say what he did, though.  Jack admits it’s not what he did, it’s what he’s going to do.  Jim doesn’t know what they did to Jack but it must have been pretty bad.  Jack needs to make a phone call and he calls Chloe.  He asks if they found out where they are taking Dana.  Chloe appears to think about it for a second and then tries to convince Jack one more time to come in.  Chloe makes eye  contact with an agent sitting nearby and then gives Jack an address.  He writes it down.  Jack is leaving now, it’s 10 minutes from where he is.  Chloe says she is calling up the interior specs and will send them.  Jack thanks Chloe, he knows he’s put her in a tough spot.  He’ll get back to her.  He hangs up and tells Jim that he wants him to stay there, he might need him again later.  Jim tells Jack that he can’t come back there again. They’re even now.  Jack gets close to Jim and says that he will let Jim know when they are even.  Jack asks him, please, he needs his help.  Jim unhappily agrees.
Cole drives up in a CTU SUV and shakes hands with a waiting agent.  It looks like they’re in a laundry facility and Cole asks if O’Brien briefed him.  She did and he reiterates to Cole that they are drawing Bauer there because that’s where he thinks Dana Walsh is being held.  Cole tells them it’s an industrial laundry the DEA seized a year ago, CTU’s been using it as a safehouse but there’s no way Jack can know this. Cole warns that Jack is a highly skilled operative so they need to make everything as credible as possible.  He wants them all outside until he gives the order.  They are going to take Jack by surprise before he has a chance to fight back.  Cole’s phone rings and Chloe is calling in asking for his status.  She reminds him that this is non-lethal.  She doesn’t want anything to happen to Jack.  Cole seems sympathetic but he can’t tell his men not to defend themselves when they are in danger.  Chloe says nothing to this, Jack is supposed to arrive in 10 minutes.
Kanin has the final draft of Taylor’s statement.  He thinks it’s best to use Hassan as the reason for her withdrawal and then they can go after the Russians after the dust has settled.  Taylor turns to Kanin and says that she has decided not to withdraw from the agreement.  Kanin doesn’t understand.  She tells him and Dana being moved, out of Jack Bauer’s reach.  She also tells him about the private interrogation team.  Kanin has stepped away but turns back at the term “Private Interrogation Team.”  Taylor says once they acquire the evidence, Walsh will be irrelevant.  Kanin scoffs and says that keeping the truth from Jack Bauer is one thing but the illegal detention and torture of a prisoner, he asks how far she is willing to go to protect this lie.  Taylor will go  as far as necessary to preserve the treaty, for the greater good and for the security of the nation.  Kanin nods in understanding, ‘This was Logan’s idea, wasn’t it?’  Taylor says the decision was hers and she stands behind it.  Kanin sits across from her and asks her to listen.  He thinks it’s about more than the greater good.  He knows the presidency has cost her her marriage and her children and she thinks that this will somehow redeem the loss.  She cuts him off saying that’s enough.  He presses that it’s personal  and she’s lost her way.  He’s known her long enough to see that.  He tries to get her to reconsider but she’s heard enough.  She appreciates his objections but the debate is over.  She wants to move on.  Kanin stands and heads to the door, but he stops before he gets there turning to face Taylor.  He threatens calmly that unless she stops what she is doing and what is being done in her name, he can’t want to be a part of it any longer.  He will cite his health and leave quietly, he is there against doctors orders anyway.  Taylor stands and crosses the room to him, her voice rising.  She asks him please, they are almost there, he can’t abandon her like this.  Kanin isn’t abandoning her, he is listening to his conscience,  “Anyway, you’ve got Charles Logan now.  Only room for one of us.”  He prepares to leave, says ‘Madam President.’  And walks out the door leaving Taylor standing there.

Dalia is looking at a paper, preparing to sign it with a shaking hand.  She speaks to Jamalt who is coming up behind her saying, ‘Look at me, my hand is shaking.’  Jamalt would be concerned if it wasn’t.  This isn’t to be taken lightly.  She is worried that people are accusing her of grabbing for power.  Her daughter comes in and asks her to remember what her father said.  In order to dispel public misconception they must address it directly.  She thinks they should take his advice.  Dalia asks for Jamalt to excuse them, he says the delegates are expecting her in 20 minutes.  Jamalt leaves and Kayla apologizes for earlier, she was afraid.  Dalia understands.  She lost her father today and she is afraid of losing her as well.  They hug and Kayla asks how this peace agreement, that her  father died for, can have so many people so violently against it.  Dalia admits that some people are so invested in fear and hatred and peace is the most threatening thing they can imagine.
Jack peers through the fence at the compound.  He moves forward wearing a large green military backpack on.  He moves a garbage bag for cover and says tells Chloe that he’s there, he sees one agent.  Chloe tells him there’s a side entrance by the loading dock.  Jack sees it.  She gives Jack a location where Dana is being held.  Jack is moving in, he jogs alongside a truck for cover and then breaks off and heads in.
Chloe tells Cole that Jack is coming in.  Cole gives his men a ready signal.  They hide in preparation.   Jack pauses, takes off the bag and removes an MP-5.  He also stashes a grenade in his pocket and then shoves the bag under a nearby truck.   He gets out  a small angle mirror and looks around the corner, seeing agent Greer.  Jack raps on the side of the van making enough noise to distract the agent and make him look over.  Greer crosses over and Jack punches him in the face.  Greer goes down and Jack gets over him taking his pulse.  Jack has a visual on the room there are no hostiles and he is going to try and grab  her.  Chloe warns him to be careful.  He takes out his earpiece and pulls agent Greer up hoisting him over his shoulder and carrying him inside.
Cole hears that Jack is almost at the takedown point.  One of the agents moves in and he hears noises and then beeping that the machinery is starting.  A large white laundry bag is moving through the track on the ceiling, Agent Greer is resting over the top of it, still unconscious.   The agent watching looks puzzled and then disgusted saying, ‘son of a bitch.’   He breaks his cover and moves forward with Cole and the other agent behind.  Jack hits the lead agents hand with his gun and gets a hold of him, turning him around and putting his gun to the agents head.  He yells for the others to put their guns down, now.  Cole yells that they can’t do that.  Jack  threatens for Cole to tell them to put their weapons down or he will kill the agent.  He yells now again.  Cole gives the order and he also puts his gun down, tossing it in the direction of Jack.  Jack pushes the agent he caught forward and wants Cole to tell the men to get down.  The other agents get down and  Jack wants Cole to advance towards him slowly.  He tells him to kick the guns in his direction and Cole does.  He wants Cole out of his line of sight.  Cole asks how Jack knew and Jack simply answers, “I know Chloe.”  Jack pulls another phone out of his pocket and throws it to Cole.  He tells Cole to call Chloe and tell her that the plan worked, they have him locked down and ready for transport.  He wants the call on speaker.  Cole starts to dial, Jack still has the gun out.  Cole ID’s himself to Chloe who answers the phone asking ‘what’s happening.’  Cole says they have Jack locked down.  Chloe asks if he’s okay and Cole says he’s fine.  Jack briefly looks at the floor and Chloe asks about the men.  Cole says they’re alright too.  Chloe knows she should feel relieved but she feels worse.  Cole says evenly that it’s like she said, it’s for his own good.  Chloe will talk to Jack when he gets there.  Cole throws the phone back to Jack who tells him to lock his men down.  Cole wants to know what Jack’s plan is but he just yells for him to lock his men down.  Cole turns and walks.

Cole has finished tying up his team and asks Jack what he’s supposed to do now. Jack wants Cole to follow him and they move away from the others.  There’s a chair nearby and Jack tells Cole to take a seat.  Jack explains quietly that Cole is why he’s there.  He knew that Cole would send him and he needs help getting to Dana Walsh.  Jack claims to know Cole well enough to know he doesn’t want to be a part of this cover up.  He explains that Taylor wants peace so badly she is willing to cover up the Russians involvement.  Cole seems sympathetic but asks how he can be sure the president is lying.  Jack admits that she told him face to face, why does Cole think she came down to CTU to talk to him directly.  She wanted to shut him up and lock him down.  Jack appeals that Cole’s hands aren’t clean in this either, he protected Dana, lied for her which enabled the Russians to provide nuclear materials to Hassan’s opposition.  Jack reminds Cole that he lost 4 of his men today and  he’s giving him a chance to make this right, to make the people responsible accountable.  Jack stands and tells Cole that he has a decision to make.  “What if you’re wrong?”  Cole asks.  “I’m not.”  Cole thinks while looking at Jack and Jack tells him, “I can’t do this on my own.”  He pulls a handgun out and tosses it down on the table in front of Cole, sliding it right to him.  “Your call.”  Cole slowly picks up the gun and looks to Jack, then puts it away in his holster.  He tells Jack that Chloe says Dana’s in a safe house a few miles from there.  Jack says they will notify CTU about the men in the next 2 hours but in the meantime it’s imperative that they think Jack took Cole hostage.  He backs off and pulls the gun up again yelling for Cole to get up.  Cole does and he walks out in front of Jack past the men.
A TV shows Dalia Hassan saying that she will be signing the treaty.  Logan is watching the TV and Kanin enters the room.  Logan stands up and says he heard about Kanin’s resignation, he’s happy to see Kanin putting his health first.  Kanin puts Logan straight, that he is leaving because of him and what he started here.  He accuses Logan of deliberately playing this out to put the president in a corner.  Logan brought the Russians back to the table, he didn’t tell how he did it because he wanted the President to have plausible deniability.  Logan says that the President knew what she was doing, she was smarter than either of them gave him credit for.  Logan defends provided counsel, Kanin is going to give Logan some council, he closes in on Logan and warns him to stop the cover up before it’s too late.  This peace is no good, there’s too much blood on this treaty for it to hold.  Logan says they’ve both been in the game a long time, every treaty has blood on it, Kanin says not like this.  Kanin tells Logan dangerously that he has got Allison so far into the woods that she’ll never find her way out.  She wasn’t like Logan, not like any politician he’d ever known.  Logan says that’s right, “She’s finally got some teeth.”  Kanin warns, “If she suffers from this I will come after you with everything I have.”  Logan muses that he’s threatening him.  Kanin is warning him, he calls him Charles.  Logan asks if Kanin needs to sit down.  Kanin is fine.  Logan politely kicks him out saying that Allison will be taking the podium any second.  He tells Kanin to get some rest, he needs it.   Kanin leaves the room.
Dana is led into a room with a black hood over her head.  She is struggling and is stopped, the hood is taken off and she sees instruments for torture nearby.  There is a wooden chair sitting ominously in the room.  One of the captors says that she knew where the evidence was, she says she doesn’t.  There was no evidence.  If she wants to play it that way, that’s fine.  They drag her to the chair.
Taylor meets up with Dalia who thanks her for her thoughts on her speech, they were very helpful and her husband would be grateful for the support she has given her.  Taylor thanks her.  They head out onto the podium for the press conference.  Taylor speaks first addressing her fellow Americans as well as friends in foreign lands.  She speaks about the brutal and cowardly murder of Omar Hassan and the steep price of peace.  She says that Hassan understood that better than anyone.  They are mourning him and every other innocent life lost.  Kanin is watching at a distance and looks down.  Taylor continues about sacrifices not being in vain and peace prevailing no matter the cost.  Kanin has heard enough and turns to leave.  Taylor sees him and pauses but keeps talking. The screen splits and Dana is seen being prepared to be tortured.

In the split screen we see Dana, Taylor speaking, Kanin getting on the elevator, CTU watching the monitors, Chloe and Arlo, Jack driving, Logan, Dalia, Cole.
Taylor introduces Dalia, they shake hands.  The crowd applauds and she steps to the microphone.  Dalia looks thoughtful.  Photos are taken and Taylor watches.

Miscellaneous Thoughts
-It’s been a while since I said good things about  series composer Sean Callerey.  Here we go. He rocks.  I loved the music at the beginning of the episode.
-I had like a quarter second of excitement when I saw the initials D.B. in the credits thinking it was D.B. Woodside (i.e. Wayne Palmer).  It was really D.B. Sweeney which is the guy playing Bledsoe.    Nothing against him, but I was geared for Wayne Palmer for a microsecond.
-By the way, believe it or not, this is the same guy that played Dylan Crandall in ‘House’.  That was the episode where House’s old band mate shows up with a (possible) daughter that appeared after the hurricane in New Orleans.  It was an interesting episode. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0784412/)
-I’m glad the chopper chase ended quickly.  It was pretty Season 3.
-The only difference was the Jack didn’t disarm the audio completely in the chopper.  This time he was less destructive and just ignored CTU.
-Oh, I love it when Chloe gets a dammit.
-Smooth NYC getaway by Jack with the fire escape.
-There’s tress in New York? (just kidding – the last thing I want is New Yorkers angry with me...)
-For some absurd reason, I found that they put the UN address on the screen hilarious.  Not  to mention the  address is ‘1 UN Plaza’.   I was laughing for like 5 minutes.
-Have they ever put an actual address up before?
-No perimeter can secure Jack Bauer.  Actually, scratch that.   No perimeter in this show can secure anything.
-I just can’t get around the feeling that there’s some *ahem*  history  between Kanin and Taylor.  He seems a little old for her but, I don’t know.
-I LOVE Kanin, but not like that.
-Taylor is going the same way that Palmer did.  She might only have one term as well.
-I also love these two actors together.  It seems like they almost always (not ALWAYS always) get superb actors for the White House stuff.  I guess it has to be or else it would be terrible and boring some of the time.
-Still wondering what Logan’s angle is...
-I loved hearing Taylor say ‘It’s over CHARLES’ the way she said Charles was awesome.
-Still trying to also figure out where the statement, “I’m nothing if not pragmatic” fits in to Logan’s personality and history.
prag·mat·ic [prag-mat-ik]
–adjective Also, prag·mat·i·cal
of or pertaining to a practical point of view or practical considerations.
treating historical phenomena with special reference to their causes, antecedent conditions, and results.
of or pertaining to the affairs of state or community.

-I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Logan is such a slimebag.  He sells it to Taylor so well.  We’ve seen it before and if he’s a better person now then I’ll eat the letters off my keyboard.
-Sorry, is Taylor familiar with Jack’s history?  The last thing they should be doing is moving Dana.  Jack will definitely find out when and where she’s being moved and there’s no way they can protect her like a bunch of CTU agents that know what Jack looks like and how he work can.
-Jack also has contacts in the private security business...
-I really wanted to type Drew Bledsoe every time I typed Mark Bledsoe.
-Line of the week: Taylor to Logan: “It’s already ugly, Charles.”  There’s the Charles again.
-They’re making Logan out to be some kind of torture monger, lying outright to Taylor about what’s going to go down.  It’s how everyone else viewed Jack last season.
-Only in New York would the clerk not bat an eye to a guy buying that many cell phones and not needing the chargers.
-Gee Jack, ever heard of cell phone recycling?  Or how about giving it to a homeless person or something?  Some kid off the street.
-Any Beavis and Butthead-ers out there, “Are you th-reatening me?  I AM CORNHOLIO!”  Sorry, for the record, I never really liked Beavis and Butthead, but I saw the movie.
-I can’t believe Chloe set Jack up.
-Probably  not a coincidence that they put Jack outside a music store, since Keifer is a musician and all.
-Jack sounds so sad when he realizes he can’t trust Chloe, or she won’t do what he wants her to.
-How long ago did Jack work for CTU?  How long ago is the favour Jack is calling in?  How did he know where to find this guy? What’s the history?  Criminal or good guy?  The answers to this and more on ’24 never answers background questions’ Check your local listings.
-So, of all the people we’ve seen Jack have contact over the years, they couldn’t get one of those actors in for something with someone we know?  How about Aaron Pierce?  Chase? Tony? Doyle?  Any other random CTU agent?  Seriously.
-This guy actually had a pretty good  sense of humour and his dry lines were well delivered.  He reminded me of Gabriel Schecter from Season 7... only less dead.
-Is Logan trying to be good but his minion is bad?  Who the hell knows.  It sounds like he at least is attempting to seem unhappy about the prospect of killing Walsh.
-Smooth, Chloe.  Real smooth.
-I was so excited when I heard that Chloe would be in charge of  CTU, I was like FINALLY someone that would help Jack unquestioningly.  Who the heck is this?  It’s  not Chloe.
-Chloe almost looks like she’s sad for Dana.  I’m not.  They’re trying to make us feel bad for her, but I’m just happy she’s getting  less screen time.  If we’re to believe she’s sitting in a room somewhere or strung up in a room somewhere, I don’t care.  As long as they don’t waste any more time with her.  I hope they kill her, then she’s out of the damn way.
-Chloe seems concerned about Jack, but he’s gone this long without getting killed, I think he’d be able to get away from the brain trust of Chloe and Cole.
-When did they have time to plan the sting between the time Chloe decided and announced it?
-Jack is still Jack, dangerous with Jim, that’s for sure.
-Jack and Jim... not Jack and Jill...
-You know you’re a 24 geek when:  You see 3 CTU agents together with Cole and immediately recognize the prop master for the series.  His name is Stirling Rush, he’s been with the show a long time and just seems like a really cool guy.  He played the agent that Jack punched out and then strung up over the bag.
-Cole likes Jack but still puts Chloe in her place about protecting themselves.  Interesting.
-If Jack has contacts all over the place, he could find out that CTU has been using that as a safehouse.
-More evidence that Taylor and Ethan are spectacular together.  I hope this isn’t the last we see of Kanin.
-I can’t believe Kanin went there with Taylor’s husband and kids.  He’s probably right, but still.
-Good to see Jamalt back.
-Nice referencing Hassan. I miss him a lot.
-Good cover, Jack.  Garbage bag.
-Jack is angry.  Really angry.  Wow, that’s a lot of yelling.
-Good thing Cole’s not as good as Jack and he didn’t pull a Curtis on him.
-Jack has known Cole for 19 hours.  He knows him well enough to decide what kind of person he is enough to give him a loaded gun?
-So, let me get this straight.  Chloe is no longer Jack’s ally, Taylor is no longer Jack’s ally, Logan is good, Cole is going against the government (even though he’s a total boy scout and probably never broke a single law in his life until icing those two jackasses for Dana) and Jack is working against the government and CTU.  I’m sorry, did we step into an alternate universe?  Was that before or after Tony became  ‘bad’.  (I hope it was before and we can step back through ANY TIME)
-Logan is such a patronizing asshole to Kanin.  I would have punched him in the nose.
-It was so cute having Kanin threaten Logan about Taylor.  He’s like the big brother sticking up for her.
-Nice cutting with Taylor giving the speech and Walsh being tortured.  After Taylor was all against it last year and sent Jack to prison... oh NOW it’s okay.
-I wonder what Dalia is going to say.
-Even though it has nothing to do with the episode, I’m calling this one ‘Stirling’.  Just because the crew of this show absolutely makes it awesome.  From the behind the scenes stuff, to the outtakes, twitter, interviews with cast, you can tell that it’s equal as it should be and they are just as much a reason this show is as good  as it is as the actors  on screen.  This is my little homage to them.
