The End Is Near:
23 May: Hey folks. Sorry about the lack of updates at this important time but I've had basically everything else in my life blowing up the last couple of weeks. I've barely had time to watch 24, let alone to summaries. They will continue, I will do them and also plan on doing a series recap. So don't go away just yet. I appreciate the emails I've been getting. Thanks and enjoy the finale.
Stirling
02 May: 8x19 - Stirling is up. Love the crew of this show. Read the summary to find out why.
Fail
18 Apr: My summary for 8x17-Renee is not going to be finished. I failed, sorry.
And, done.
11 Apr: I've finished the summary for 8x16-Vintage. The thoughts are about half done and I've posted what I have. Enjoy tomorrow. On a basically baseless thought (or a base that I can't share) I'm pretty sure we're in for a large character death... I won't say who I think it is.
1 out of 2...so far
10 Apr: Finished the summary for 8x14 - Obtuse. No reason for the title other than I like the sound of the word. Will try and do one of the others tomorrow... 90% chance of getting done.
The End
09 Apr: I'm basically done the summary from last week, I'll try and finish it and the 2nd episode from this week tomorrow (Saturdays rock)Today is the last day of filming for 24, ever. Mary Lynn Rajskub has already wrapped. For detailed information and up to the minute info, follow the 24-ers on Twitter. Links are on my links page.
Refreshing
28 Mar: I have to say, my trip and vacation from the site was actually kind of refreshing. I feel revved up and ready to go for the rest of the (last) season. With that said, 8x13-Refreshingly Redundant is finished. Enjoy tomorrow night.
Back:
27 Mar: Well, that's the worst birthday present ever. Yesterday, FOX announced that 24 will not be doing a Season 9. They will move on and do movies with Jack Bauer. May 24 will be the last episode of 24 ever. :'(
For my site, it will remain open as long as there is interest. I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been with this site since it was on the free host 'geocities' in Season 2 as well as those who have come in along the way. This has been a great experience for me. Thank you. The forum will also remain open.
I am planning on completing a summary for last weeks episode over the next 2 days. I thank everyone for their patience.
Holidays:
2 Mar: I'm writing this from an airport, I'm heading out to Europe for two weeks. I'll be missing episodes and won't be able to do summaries. Look for me again after the 15th. :)
Update:
22 Feb: Summary for 8x08-Rods is finished. My titles are about as creative as some of the storylines this year.
Kiefer Surgery etc.
20 Feb: Production of 24 was shut down this week so Kiefer could have surgery to remove a cyst near his kidney. He's apparently doing fine (as said by Jon Cassar on my forum and other places). I've been a little busier than usual lately - I live in the city hosting the Winter Olympics, which has made my already crazy schedule even wilder. I appreciate patience from all of you while I try and get all caught up. It looks like the summary for 8x08 will be completed for Sunday.
Jackknife
14 Feb: Happy Singles Awareness Day. :) 8x07-Jackknife summary is complete. Thoughts coming.
Not a liar: :)
07 Feb: The summary for 8x06 is done. No thoughts - actually I have lots of thoughts on it, but I might do it tomorrow. Sorry about any type-o's, I didn't proof it and I don't really like the title I chose.
Another one down:
07 Feb: It's been a little bit of a slog though, but 8x05-Babysitters Club is finished. I just might get 8x06 done before tomorrow as well. We'll see.
Summary 1: Check
24 Jan: I've completed the first summary, 8x01-Happiness. In my opinion, this was the best of the first four so it's the one I decided to do first. Screencaps to come.
ABOUT TIME
17 Jan: It's finally here, the new season starts tonight. Don't miss it. Also, if you need a refresher, a lot of FOX stations are airing the Season 7 finale prior to Human Target.
Wanna talk about it after, buzz on over to the forum, it'll be hopping. :) See you all there!
Parade Interview and Forum Update
14 Jan: Parade.com has an interesting interview with Kiefer. Also, if you like to chat on 24 forums the one for this site has picked up a lot of steam in the last couple of days since the FOX forum changed to a really annoying format. Click here to join the conversation.
Kiefer on Letterman
13 Jan: Kiefer's on Letterman tonight, in a dress. Downright disturbing, but hilarious.
New 24-um
11 Jan: If you're a 24um-er, the new one is up and running here. There's also a blog done by the script supervisers. Cool.
TV Week:
10 Jan: The local TV Week here has 24 on the cover and a somewhat interesting article as well as introductions to the new characters. Click the pages to read the articles.
7 Days:
10 Jan: 1 week today, folks! :) US TV Guide is running 24 on the cover this week, make sure you check it out. If anyone has it scanned and could send it on to me, that would be awesome! (I'm not in the US)
Excited yet?
06 Jan: Having just resolved some (more) technical difficulties, we're running again. Check out the upcoming appearances to the right. There are lots of promos all over the place, but one of my favorite interviews is this one from ET Canada with Kiefer. So far, the bulk of the Season 8 reviews have been positive. Here's another relatively open review of Seaosn 8. Tidbits galore. Mary Lynn Rajskub says that she thinks they need at least another season.
Festivities
19 Dec: Well, we're into the final month of waiting. :) For some of us, Christmas really comes on January 17th. :) Here's an interesting (and in some ways slightly disturbing) video: Jack Bauer interrogates Santa Claus.
Updates
16 Dec: There are many promos out all over the net now for the new season and on your local FOX station. Counting down the days now.
RE: the last season - Marci Michelle said via Twitter that nothing is set in stone if this is the end or not. Go sign the petition anyway.
I'm attempting to get a Q&A with either Marci Michelle, Annie Wershing, Rodney Charters or Mary-Lynn Rajskub. No response yet.
DO SOMETHING!
9 Dec: Time to do something. Go sign this petition to help save 24. There's other stuff in the works - we are NOT GIVING UP! Do it RIGHT NOW. I mean it. Don't make me get Jack.
Reading Between the Lines
9 Dec: These two 'Tweets' appeared on Rodney Charters' (24's Director of Photography since day 1) Twitter this morning.
"Celebrating with Kiefer the extraordinary gift of 24 mindful that our continuance not expected nor even discussed or in contractual talks"
and
"At a fine restaurant debating how we will cope with the demise of 24. It's family, unimaginable to walk away from 9 years of camaraderie"
Wow. That sure says a lot in less than 140 characters each.
Keeping my day job
24 Nov: SO Happy that I was wrong. The info that broke from FOX was that Fringe is going on hiatus. Sorry for Fringe, HAPPY FOR 24... so far.
Prophecy
23 Nov: Further on the disappointing news. I hate to jump the gun here, but I'm betting that tomorrow, November 24th, they will announce that 24 will come to an end after Season 8. I'm a pessimist, what can I say?
There is a Season 8 cast photo on the Season 8 Page. Who ARE all these people?
Update:
19 Nov: Completely Disappointing actor update for Season 8. If you read about it and don't like it, go sign the petition to bring him back. It probably won't work, but whatever.

People's Choice
11 Nov: YOU, yes YOU need to go RIGHT NOW and vote for Kiefer for the People's Choice Awards. Click here, or here - Just GO!
Fringe
5 Nov: Jon Cassar's Finge, the one I saw them filming (!!! :) !!!!) is on FOX Tonight. It's called 'Earthling'. Be on the lookout for another 24 shout out - he put one in Criminal Minds.
(Re)Casting Announcement
1 Nov: An old character is returning. Still no word on the one I'm dying to see, but this guy should make for some fun. Check out the Season 8 page
More promos
30 Oct: This time, Fox has released an official promo. Check out my Season 8 page for it :)
Promos again
26 Oct: I've received an email with a request to take the promos down. In an effort not to create any trouble for anyone, I have until I sort it all out. :)
Empire's 24 Questions with Carlos Bernard video is really funny. See it here.
Promos
25 Oct: Yesterday, all I wanted in life was to see the 2 promos that were leaked. Weeellll, this morning, they arrived. ABDS is my hero. :) They are on my Season 8 Page.
Also, I've done screencaps of the 2nd promo: Click here
In other news, I changed the poll today. Interesting that from the last one, we're about split on Tony the Terrorist. About 34% of you love it, while 31% said it ruined the season.
Promo and More:
24 Oct: Heads up on the 24 Season 8 promos coming out during the world series. A spoiler type person on Twitter is claiming to have seen rough cuts of them. More info on the Season 8 page. Carlos Bernard has had some interesting things to say in the last while, he has mastered the art of saying nothing while saying something. In possible last season news, 2 execs (Howard Godon and Evan Katz) from the show have signed on to another project. Also, Carlos Bernard thinks that this will be the last year.
Updates:
16 Oct: Sorry it's been so long. Interesting interview with Carlos Bernard where he gives nothing at all away about Season 8 except that it really looks like they don't know if this is the last season or not. Keep your eyes out for Jon Cassar's episode of Fringe, it's called 'Earthling'. Also, his feature, Motorcade, is in pre-production.
Emmy's Again
20 Sept: I'm actually going to sit through (some) of the Emmy's. Congrats to 24 Alumni Shohreh Aghdashloo (Dina Araz, Season 4) for winning Supporting Actress in Miniseries or Movie.
Kiefer lost for 24 Redemption to Brendon Gleeson for Into the Storm. Never heard of him or the show, but hey, that doesn't mean anything.
Congrats to Cherry Jones for winning Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of President Taylor. Loving that the Emmy will be on craft services table tomorrow on the 24 set.
Emmy's
19 Sept: The Emmy awards are tomorrow and remember that 24 is up for a few. As much as I'm discouraged that 24 didn't win any creative Emmy's and Jon Cassar wasn't even nominated (total bunk), I've still got my fingers crossed for Cherry Jones and Kiefer Sutherland tomorrow. Jon Cassar has been posting some great photos on his Twitter of him with various cast members.
TV Guide has picked their winners, and it's not Jones. But you can go tell them how it should be by voting here.
They also talked to Annie Wershing about next season and here's an interview with Cherry Jones.
Season 8 Update
7 Sept: Updated the Season 8 page today with some more cast information. Pretty dry for info out there right now. I don't know about you guys, but I can't think of a better way to spend the long weekend than watching 24 with a buddy that hasn't seen Season 7. Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.
Updates
5 Sept: Updated the Jon Cassar page with more photos of filming and another location - outdoor so I got to see him in action.
JON CASSAR (Again)!
27 Aug: You guys are not going to believe this, but I stumbled upon the filming for Fringe today and (thanks to a friendly extra) met none other than Jon Cassar! Click here to read the full account! And have I mentioned lately that I love living in Vancouver? I'd totally go back tomorrow more prepared if he wouldn't think I was a complete stalker. :) lol
And, I hope if you're in LA you saw some 24-ers at the Laugh Factory for charity. If you did, let me know-I'd love to hear about it.
Screencaps And Charity
25 Aug: Screencaps for 7x22-Betrayal are up. Mary-Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) announced via Twitter that cast members of 24 will be at the Laugh Factory this Thursday, August 27th. Admission will go to Children's hospital and known actors scheduled to be there so far are Rajskub, Katee Sackoff, John Boyd, Glenn Morshower, Roger Cross, Jean Smart, Marisol Nichols, James Morrison. Apparently more names to come.
7x22 Complete
Well, I was inspired (and had some time) to finish another summary today. 7x22-Betrayal is finished - screencaps to come. Also, if you haven't seen Jon Cassar's post in my guestbook, go check it out!
He was here! :)
22 Aug: You need to go to the guestbook, now :) Jon Cassar was here, and he likes the site-and he posted about it. I told you he was my favorite! :)
News also today that Carlos Bernard will be appearing on an upcoming episode of 'Burn Notice'.
Jon Cassar!
22 Aug: So, I found out via Twitter that my (as you all know) favorite 24 director, Jon Cassar is in my city filming an episode of the Fox show Fringe. In a moment of bravery (or stupidity) I asked him if he'd be interested in a meet. Don`t really know what to expect, I`m certainly not usually that forward, but hey, you never know unless you ask right? I'll let you know if it works out - and I`ll also let you know if he bans me from his Twitter because he thinks I`m a psycho stalker (which you all know I`m not). I`m going to tweet him one more time and then leave him alone if he doesn`t answer - no hard feelings. :) I`m still trying to figure out what I`m thinking trying this at all. :)
Also, 2 hilarious Tony videos on YouTube. First one is a dance routine with Carlos Bernard and a group of scanitly clad women. You can see a couple of times that he`s really trying hard not to laugh. Another that is almost as funny, Ultimate Tony Almeida.
Don't Bother
14 Aug: Don't bother about that "exciting Audrey Raines" news that was tipped by EW's Auseillo. It turns out the 'big news' is that there is NO news. Frustrating..
Info Coming:
12 Aug: Apparently, there's big Audrey Raines news coming in the Entertainment Weekly on sale Friday. Anyone get a subscription that might get it early?
All kinds of info!
12 Aug: I've been out of town but there's been lots of news afoot. First, Mary-Lynn Rajskub got married, in Vegas, on the same night I was IN Vegas. But I didn't know until I came home. She's also in the new movie Julie & Julia. There are some updates on new characters. Also, there seems to be more speculation than ever that this might be the last year of 24. Fox says it's expensive. I say, "Reality TV may be cheap, but it sucks." Also, the full trailer from Comic Con is up. Including the new CTU. Plus, here's a new Kiefer interview. Not really 24-ish.
Update on Possible Return
27 July: I'm feeling optimistic. Because of that I'm taking this comment from David Fury as good news.
Q and A up
25 July: I have been updating the Comic Con page as well as the Season 8 page on and off all day. The Q&A are linked in from the Comic Con page. Enjoy! And thanks TAandMD.
Part of the clip, and more
Part of the clip is up for download and on Youtube. Articles and stuff here: Katee Stackhoff's blog, eOnline, NewsARama, BuddyTV, and IGN TV
And now.... we wait.
24 July: The panel is completed, the sneak peek has been seen. Now we wait for the ks24.net ComicCon insider to have a chance to send the goods on. To see what she learned so far, click here.

Comic-Con Exclusive
22 July: We're going to Comic-Con! Are you packed? Let's go! :) Kiefersutherland24.net has secured an insider at the Comic-Con conference to bring back information for you. Comic-Con is a huge gathering of the movie, TV, and comic industry. 24 will appear there in the form of a panel with Kiefer Sutherland, Mary-Lynn Rajskub (Chloe), showrunner Howard Gordon and new Season 8 cast members to answer questions. Also, a video preview of Season 8 will be shown. And exclusive coverage will be brought to you from our Comic-Con insider. For the TV-related schedule, click here (TV Guide).
Headbutting Charges Dropped
22 July: Kiefer's latest incident has been dropped completely. The DA has rejected the case.
Emmy Nom's for 2009
16 July: It's hard to feel unhappy when overall the show was nominated for 11 Emmy's, 3rd in one hour dramas but I can't be too happy the Kiefer wasn't nominated for Lead Actor in a Drama Series. As well as 24 not getting nominated overall. Not to mention there was no love for Director Jon Cassar. What's the deal with that?

Nothing More Than, Feelings
12 July: 7-19 is up. I hate how they manipulated our feelings in this. Check the summary and thoughts for more constructive ideas.
Let's Play Ball!
12 July: Annie Wershing is playing in a celebrity softball tournament in St. Louis tonight. It will be broadcast on ESPN about 10:00 ET. She did a little interview here where she confirms stuff we already know about S8. 7-19 is sitting up on my computer waiting to be completed. Getting there :)
Eh?
2 July: Happy Canada Day yesterday. :) Season 8 page has been updated with some more casting and other assorted tidbits. Also, check out this hilarious video I borrowed from Jon Cassar's Twitter. His tweet? "I bet you didn't know Kiefer, Carlos and I study dance on weekends together here's the proof:"
Season 8 Page Up:
27 June: The Season 8 Page is up. Beware, obviously, spoilers.
Hey, look, I finished one.
27 June: Okay, well, it's summer. What did I spend the first day of summer vacation doing? Summarizing, just for you. :). 7x23: Political Filler is up. You can tell I wasn't super happy with it from the title.
Pass
23 May: Well, the finale gets a pass from me. I still don't like that Tony killed Moss and did the things he did, but I felt like the finale cleared a lot of things up. I just love the character so much it's hard to accept, but I'm going to continue with cautious optimism. Here's the finale summary: 7.24 - Redemption.
Finale Night
18 May: It's here, D-Day as far as a lot of 24 fans are concerned. Don't forget it starts in a few minutes on the East coast, an hour earlier.
Good night and good luck to all.
Blind Faith?
19 Apr: Okay, so the summary for 7x18-Blind Faith? is completed - sort of. I'm traveling with week and haven't had time to do a lot of thoughts (although, I have a ridiculous amount of thoughts on this episode that would take forever to share.) I will complete them as soon as I have time, but for right now, read the summary and the few thoughts on the big (terrible) twist.
They didn't.
14 Apr: They didn't, really? Really, honesty, DIDN'T just make Tony evil. This is me in denial. You'll hear the full rant in the summary of this episode, but I just wanted to put that out there. Some interesting tidbits
a) Location for Season 8.
b) Carlos Bernard TV Squad interview
and c) Carlos Bernard LA Times Interview
Distraction
12 Apr: 7x17-Distration is finished. I was distracted, by other things for a change since the second half of the show was so meh.
Oooh, unhappy.
4 Apr: 7x16 is really done this time, not a type-o :) Title? Unhappy Camper. Also, I posted some pictures in the 15 summary.
Done. :)
29 Mar: 7x15 is done. Enjoy tomorrow!
Hey, Early
18 Mar: Summary for 7x14 - Regret is finished. Surprised what some holidays can do. :)
Sacrifice
17 Mar: Okie Dokie, the summary for 7x13 - Sacrifice is complete. 7x14 should he complete soon. :) Also, check this out - 24 Clue. Sign me up!
7x12 - Stress
9 Mar: Completed 7x12 - Stress today. Was that 2 hour episode great or what? Wow. Looking forward to tonight, that's for sure!
Angry, but complete
1 Mar: Okay, a broke down and just redid 7x09 - Security. Angry? Check. Complete? Check. 2 hour 24 tomorrow night starting an hour earlier than normal to make up for it? Check.
More Bad News:
16 Feb: And another blow to the 24 community. Production Designer and producer Joseph Hodges is also leaving the show. In his post on the Fox24 Forum he didn't state the reason but he's been with the show since the first episode.
Bad News
15 Feb: Terrible news breaking from 24 today. Jon Cassar, executive producer and director of some of the best episodes (Most notably, Seasons 2 through 5 finale's and 2 through 6 episodes 1 &2 & Redemption), has left the show. He has signed for a CBS pilot called 'Washington Field'. He posted on the Fox24 Forum this evening thanking the fans for their comments and praising the crew of 24. Cassar had worked aside on another project during Season 6 and in my opinion, was the reason Season 6 floundered. Jon, you will be missed. Cassar is the second major player from the show to leave in the last year, Joel Surnow, writer and producer, departed over the hiatus.
